I hate to admit it, but I’m going to like these someday. It’s a horrendously ugly thing for an automaker to actually put into production today, but in 20 years it will be a quirky wonder that took balls to design and sell.

I hate to admit it too.

I think they are absolutely fucking stupid, pointless, and overpriced for something that was targeted to middle-aged new divorcees.

But I could see myself driving one with a lift and mud tires in 20 years.

Exactly. Mine would be light blue with brass-colored rims on dirt tires with raised white lettering. Very slight lift, if any, and a skidplate. And that’s it.

But until then, I hate it.

I like them now. 2 years ago I hated them on the same basis of my X6 hate; pointless comprimise. But now... what exactly is it compromising? handling? weight? Most Murano’s aren’t on serious family duty so the capacity isn’t vital... It’s not really losing anything.
